AAP open to form government in Delhi

AAP would hold public meetings to ascertain the people’s views on the issue

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday asked Lt Governor Najeeb Jung not to dissolve the Delhi Assembly anytime soon, saying it will hold public meetings to know whether the party should form government again.

In a meeting, Mr Kejriwal told Mr Jung that the party was deliberating on whether it should form government. The convener also handed over a letter to Mr Jung in which he said the AAP would hold public meetings to ascertain the people’s views on the issue, sources said.

The AAP leader’s change of stand came five days after the party drew a blank in LS polls in Delhi.
