Hyderabad: The sleuths of the North Zone task force nabbed an autorickshaw driver for transporting illicitly distilled liquor sachets in his autorickshaw at Prakash Nagar crossroads in Begumpet.
According to N. Koti Reddy, the additional deputy commissioner of police, task force, the 24-year-old accused, Narsingh , is a resident of Attai Battai Colony in Dhoolpet and he earns his livelihood by driving his autorickshaw. However, he resorted to transporting illicit liquor to earn extra money. He gets the liquor through Rajender, an agent, from Nallagutta and transports the same to Gopal, a retailer in Balaji Nagar and Yapral on commission basis. He earns between Rs 400 to Rs 500 per trip. The task force team seized about 1600 ID liquor sachets from him. The accused and the seized material were handed over to Begumpet inspector of police.
