Windows 8.1 update requirement extended to June 30th
According to the Microsoft Windows Blog, Windows has extended the requirement time for their consumers to update to the Windows 8.1 for another 30 days till June 10th. There was an extension in the update requirement time because windows realized that not all its customers received the update. However, the consumers who do not update their devices to Windows 8.1 till the extended deadline, will no longer receive the updates.
In the Windows 8.1, the desktop has been worked on with a new task manager and a streamlined file management. It gives a quick view on the taskbar of all the open tabs and the apps from the Windows Store. Also, the start screeen can be personalised according to the user's requirement.
