AAP to use spy cameras in Varanasi to check malpractices during voting

Party sources said that these volunteers will move around as normal people without wearing AAP caps or showing any political affiliation.

AAP leader Sanjay Singh on Sunday said that this was to keep a tab on BJP workers who may try to influence voters by offering money and liquor. The AAP claimed the BJP could resort to unfair means as it had “realised” that BJP’s PM nimonee Narendra Modi was “losing ground” to the Arvind Kejriwal. He said the BJP’s frustration was evident from the way AAP leaders were physically attacked by BJP cadres.

“It is another thing to bring in crowds form other states and hold impressive meeting but when it comes to actual voting, the BJP does not stand a chance,” AAP leader Sanjay Singh said.

Mr Singh further said the contest in Varanasi will be between Mr Modi and Mr Kejriwal while the Congress candidate Ajay Rai will not be able to make any significant impact in the elections.

The AAP leader, however, parried all questions about the possibility of the party joining a Third Front government if the BJP or the Congress fails to get not get the requisite numbers to form the government at the Centre.
