Mumbai: Bollywood Actor Ajay Devgan is all set to direct his second film after ‘U Me Aur Hum’. The new film titled ‘Shivay’ will be directed and produced by him and will be presented by Eros International, Mumbai Mirror reported.
Ajay will also be seen playing the lead role in this film. Ajay Devgn films also known as ADF was founded by the actor himself in 2000 when he produced and starred in ‘Raju Chacha’ with his wife Kajol.
In 2008 he made his directorial debut with ‘U Me Aur Hum’ which also starred him and Kajol in the lead roles. There is no confirmation about Kajol playing a lead role in ‘Shivay’, according to reports.
The report also stated that Ajay ghost-directed the film ‘Son of Sardar’, which also saw him in the lead role and was directed by Ashwini Dheer. After that Ashwini turned down Ajay’s offer to direct a film titled ‘Mangalam’
A source was quoted saying, “Ajay and Eros have a great working equation since the days of SOS(Son of Sardar), which despite clashing with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan amassed nearly Rs 140 crore. Now, they are looking forward to working together on Shivay.”
