Anjan to make city safe for people of all regions, faiths

The leader promised that he would ensure that the city remains a safe place

Hyderabad: “Yeh Hyderabad shehar hum sabka ka hai. Barson se yahan par log Ganga-Jamuna ki tehzeeb nibhate aye hai, aur aagey bhi yahi chalega (This city belongs to all of us. People have been living in religious harmony here for ages, and this tradition will continue in the future),” said Anjan Kumar Yadav, the Congress Lok Sabha candidate from Secunderabad.

He was responding to the alleged attempt being made by some political parties to scare people from the Seemandhra region and other states living in the city.
Mr Yadav embarked on a motorcycle rally on the final day of election campaign and thousands of youngsters came out voluntarily to participate in the rally.
Mr Yadav tried to cover all the seven Assembly segments — Musheerabad, Sanathnagar, Amberpet, Khairatabad, Nampally, Jubilee Hills and Secunderabad, that make up the Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency.
People of all ages, men and women, came out of their houses to cheer Mr Yadav as the road show passed from one area to the other. With folded hands, Mr Yadav appealed to the voters to give their mandate to him. He promised that he would ensure that the city becomes a safe place for people of all religions and from all regions.
