People skeptical of K Chandrashekhar Rao pre poll promises

Mahbubnagar: TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s tall pre-poll promises to the 3.5 crore Telanganites is being looked upon as eyewash by most urban residents of Mahbubnagar Parliamentary constituency. And it’s only for '200 that many came to crowd his meetings.

It is alleged that Mr Rao hardly ever visited the district, but with the elections knocking on the door, he addressed 11 meetings in a single day. Responding to such allegations, TRS Assembly candidate from Mahbubnagar Srinivas Goud said, “KCR has taken care of the issues of the district and has worked for the upliftment of Dalits and Muslims.” However, when asked why KCR is fighting from Medak and not from Mahbubnagar, Mr Goud simply said, “That is his decision.”
