NASA astronaut Rick Mastracchio clicked a selfie whilst on an EVA mission on the International Space Station.
EVA, short for Extra Vehicular Activity, is when an astronaut exits the spacecraft or space station to carry out repairs or inspections of the exterior of the spaceship. While on an EVA mission, Astronaut Rick Mastracchio clicked a selfie using his smartphone and tweeted the same. He also did mention that clicking a selfie was not as easy as it would be on earth. The uncomfortable spacesuit makes using small devices, especially cellphones, a huge task. “An EVA selfie. The space suit makes it very difficult to get a good selfie. I tried several today,” Rick said in his tweet. However, though it was difficult, he managed to shoot a pic of himself when he was out there.
