Movie review 'Kwatle Satisha': Remake of a different Ghajini!

'Kwatle Satisha' is laced with humour and some dramatic twists
Cast: Ninasum Satisha, Sonia Gowda, Chickkanna
Director: Mahesh Rao
The hero falls in love, then the girl says yes and her parents are convinced and the marriage is fixed. Seems the usual but with Ninasum Satisha playing the lead character, there has to be some dramatic twist or at least some memory loss as the posters of Kwatle Satisha suggests. The director Mahesh Rao is on a hat-trick remaking the hit
Tamil films in Kannada. After his last week release of Endhendhu Ninagagi, he comes with another Kollywood remake -Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom as Kwatle Satisha is laced with humour, proving again his brilliance of 'copy paste' act while adapting the original script.
Based on a real story as claimed by the maker, Kwatle Satisha is an experimental subject. The first half peps up the tone with good humour
and details which are quite natural like the cricket match between the friends. It surely does remind the audience, the intensity of a cricket match played by a handful of friends in an neighbourhood play ground with rules of their own. Wondering over the weird connection of a cricket match and the main plot with hero, who is about to get married in two days! Stay on with the memory, as the hero temporarily
loses 'it' while trying to catch the ball and falls on his head. The chemicals in the brain start reacting and so does the audience.
Thereafter, the hero just remembers one thing on how he fell down while catching the ball. In an unrealistic circumstance based on a 'real' story, the second half of the film becomes repetitive at times with Kwatle Satisha suffering from temporary memory loss. Hoping for
his recovery, his close friends decide to somehow manage to get Satisha married while keeping his present state of his mind as a big secret. On how the friends manage to do it, is the fun part and a must watch for audience. Will Satisha retain his memory or his friends face the wrath? Ninasum Satisha does a neat job and Sonia Gowda plays a sweet cameo as lead characters with Chickkanna filling the humour part.
