Chrome Remote Desktop can provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users

Mumbai: The Chrome Remote Desktop can now help individuals to browse through the folders that have been saved on their PC from Android phone.

This Android app supports pinch-to-zoom and has a user-friendly interface. One just needs to drag the finger across the screen, which will help in changing the position of an on-screen cursor on your PC . You can tap the screen with one finger to emulate a left-click, or use a two-finger tap for right-clicks.

It is a fully cross-platform, which can provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows (XP and above) and Mac (OS X 10.6 and above) desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser .Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook as well. Its official blog also stated,’ Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.’

Official reports also stated that this Android app also enables one to remotely access one’s machine from another laptop or computer in a free, easy and secure way.On reviewing the Chrome Remote Desktop, liliputing stated, ‘Chrome Remote Desktop for Android still doesn’t support add-ons, and the mobile app doesn’t offer all the functionality of the desktop version.’
