Hyderabad: Ajmal is currently back to Tollywood with Prabhanjanam. He has starred in a Telugu film after a long time. “I had to complete my projects in other languages and then come here,” says the actor. His film Rangam had a political backdrop, and Prabhanjanam too has a political subject. “Both are political subjects but completely different and have no similarities. My character in this film is completely different from that in Rangam,” says Ajmal.
Talking about his character, he says that he plays play a rich kid doing wrong things. “Slowly my character turns positive, he realises his responsibilities and then fights for the common man,” says the actor. About working in three languages, the actor says “I will handle that by working on only one project at a time.”
Ajmal’s next Telugu project Thanu Monne Vellipoyindi is ready to hit theatres soon.
