Hyderabad: The success of Hrudaya Keleyam has come as a pleasant surprise for the debutante actor Sampoornesh Babu. Also known as Sampoo, he talks about a recent attack on him and his upcoming projects.
Sampoornesh clarifies, “Director Shankar, a few other crew members and I had gone for dinner and a small tiff occurred with some youngsters in the restaurant. The entire episode was just blown out of proportion.”
After his first successful stint, Sampoornesh is now flooded with offers from Tollywood. He is currently working on his second film titled Kobbari Matta where he is playing a triple role. “In this movie, I will be romancing seven heroines. The shooting will commence soon.”
The actor also dreams of working with Mohan Babu someday.
He says, “Mohan Babu has been my favourite actor since childhood. I hope to meet him and maybe also work with him one day. I’m his die-hard fan.”
And how does he react to people calling him Sampoo? “I just love it. Whenever they call me Sampoo, my heart jumps with joy.”
