Hyderabad: According to a source, Nayantara is playing the female lead opposite Venkatesh in the remake of Oh My God to be directed by Kishore (Dolly). Pawan Kalyan is playing Lord Krishna in this multi-starrer.
The film will start production next month and our source added that the makers confirmed Nayantara as the lead. Actually, Venkatesh and Nayantara were supposed to act in a film titled Radha to be directed by Maruthi. But the project is almost shelved. The actress’ dates will shift to Oh My God.
“We don’t know when Radha will start, but we don’t want to waste Nayantara’s time. Also Venky and Nayantara have become a hit pair. So we wanted her as the female lead,” says a unit member. Venky’s brother Suresh Babu and Pawan Kalyan’s close associate Sharath Marar are jointly producing this film.
