MIM release second list of candidates for seven Assembly seats
Hyderabad :The All India Majlis-e-ittehadul Muslimeen has announced its second list of candidates for seven Assembly seats in Rayalseeema and three Parliament seats in the Rayalaseema and Telangana regions.
Releasing the list, party president Asaduddin Owaisi said that Mohammed Ali will contest from Anantapur Assembly constituency, Haji Shoukhat Ali will be the candidate from Hindupur Assembly seat, C.M. Iliyas will contest from Kadiri, Mohammed Ali Pasha from Madannapalli, Sheik Kareemullah from Nandyala, Sheik Khadar Basha from Rayachoti and Y. Mahboob Basha from Guntakal Assembly constituencies.
This is the first time the party is fielding candidates in places other than Hyderabad city.Mr Asaduddin Owaisi said that P.V Narayan Reddy will contest from Nandyal Parliament seat and Sridhar Dharani Kota from the Malkajgiri LS seat. Motilal is the candidate for the Bhongir Lok Sabha seat.The party has already announced its candidates in its first list which covers the seven Assembly seats in Hyderabad.
So far, the party has announced 14 candidates for Assembly and four for Parliament seats. The party is likely to announce its third list for some Assembly constituencies in Kurnool as well as Parliament seats in Rayalaseema and the Zaheerabad, Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar LS seats in Telangana.
The party will also announce candidates for some Assembly seats in Telangana shortly.
