Mumbai: Bollywood divas are very versatile when it comes to talent. Take megastar Priyanka Chopra for example, the Miss World pageant winner, turned actress and now is a singer with two hit singles.
Alia Bhatt, who recently lent her vocals in the film ‘Highway’ has plans to train professionally as a singer, Bombay Times reported.
“ I enjoyed bathroom singing till I reached the studio. The first time I realized I wanted to be in entertainment was when I was in kindergarten. Once, during choir practice, the headmistress asked me to come forward and sing. She then asked all the other students to sing like me. I sang and loved the attention I got that day. I wanted to be like that some day. And now that I am acting, singing for real is also on the agenda.”
The 21 year-old star has been on a promotional spree with co-star Arjun Kapoor for the release of their upcoming film, ‘2 States’. The film is set to release on April 12, 2014.
