Hyderabad: YSR Congress politburo member M.V. Mysoora Reddy rubbished the poll survey of CNN-IBN-Lokniti-CSDS which predicted an upper hand for the TDP over YSRC in the Lok Sabha polls.
Mysoora Reddy said, “The size of the sample shows that the survey carried out by CNN IBN was done on a very small size. They took up the exercise only to project TDP and Naidu. The credibility of the channel is at stake as the survey has many loopholes. The survey has taken just 1,200 samples which is too small.”
“We do not support one survey or oppose another but we are just questioning the rationale of the sample size used in the CNN-IBN survey,” he said.
He added that Nielson has earlier conducted a similar survey with a sample size of 40,000, and had concluded that a YSRC wave was sweeping the state.
He said senior Journalist P. Sainath and former press secretary to the Prime Minister, Sanjay Baru, had checked the findings, and stated that they do not match ground realities.
