Video shows how Bollywood music has become the soundtrack of our lives

Mumbai: Are you a fan of classical Bollywood? Make sure you watch Penn Masala's 'Evolution of Bollywood Music'!

The band's latest video, which shows them singing a mash-up of Bollywood's hit songs from different eras, has become a rage on social networking sites.

From old hits like "Suhani Raat Dhal Chuki", "Mera Joota Hai Japani" and "Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh", the group has covered most of the popular songs Bollywood has ever produced till date.

This video also includes other popular Bollywood numbers like "Ina Mina Dika", "Mera Joota Hai Japani", "Bachna Ae Hasseno", "Pehla Nasha" and "Chhaiyya Chhaiyya" among others.

The group also keeps a keen eye on the look, matching costumes with eras.

Penn Masala, the world's first Hindi acapella group, was formed by Pennsylvania University students in 1996. Having released eight full-length albums till date, the band comprises members of different nationalities and claims that its music has been influenced by Eastern and Western cultures.
