Ayan Mukerji heading to America to learn VFX for his next

Mumbai: Ayan Mukerji, who is reportedly making a superhero film with Ranbir Kapoor as the lead, has started working on it. Post the release of 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' last year, the director wanted to party and do everthing that he wasn't able to do for a long time. He travelled around the globe and was enjoying himself. After all, not every filmmaker's second film is a top grosser at the Bollywood box office. Ayan's will be making a trip to begin work on his next.

A friend of the director revealed Ayan's plans to Deccan Chronicle, " Ayan's next will be very VFX heavy which will mostly go on floors in 2015. As a director, he fells that he needs to be techically sound in the VFX department as well so that he can shoot the film accordingly. Though there will be special team roped in for the project, he wants to learn all the details of making all action look believable on screen. He doesn't want this film to be less than any other Hollywood film in terms of its VFX."

Ranbir Kapoor, one of Ayan's closest friends is also aware of his plans and has been very supportive about it. A friend added, " Ayan will be heading over to LA very soon and will spend at least 4-5 months undergoing an intensive workshop at a top training centre. Meanwhile, though he also has a rough draft ready, this training will also help him to fine tune his script." Ayan Mukerkji was sent a text message but he chose to stay mum on this plan.
