Keep party issues secret, says Rajnath Singh

Rajnath asks leaders to raise matters concerning decisions within party forum
New Delhi: Senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said “BJP president Rajnath Singh has decided that the membership of Sabir Ali stands annulled.” He said the BJP chief took the decision after taking note of public comments by some party leaders.
Mr Singh also asked leaders to raise matters concerning decisions within the party forum, and not in public, following the open criticism of the decision by Mr Naqvi and others.
Mr Ali had on Saturday morning written to BJP general secretary Dharmendra Pradhan, also in charge of party affairs in Bihar, asking that his membership be kept on hold in view of the allegations.
In an indication that not everyone in the party was happy with Mr Ali’s induction, former party president Nitin Gadkari said, “It is election time and the prime focus is to defeat the Congress. We need to move forward with everyone’s support.”
Arun Jaitley said it is the judiciary that which will decide whether a person is guilty or not and not to bring the cou-ntry to such a pass that a party or a TV anchor would decide guilt or innocence.
Mr Ali had hopped from the LJP to the RJD to the JD(U), from which he was expelled for praising Mr Modi.
