The photo tagging feature will help users to tag up to 10 people in a photo

March 27, 2014: Twitter has added a 'photo tagging' feature on its mobile app, to help its users tag their closest friends. Users can tag up to 10 people in a photo, without affecting the character count of their tweet. You can add @'s all you want and still have your 140 characters.

Its official blog stated ‘Tagging people in a picture makes conversations around photos fun and easy. It also further mentioned, ‘one can adjust notifications, as well as who can tag another , in your Settings.

Techradar.computing also reported, ‘Twitter will allow mobile users to upload four photos in a single tweet.’ Adding to this, users can also share a series of photos that automatically create a collage.

‘Just tap on a preview to get the full image and slide through the group,’ stated the official blog. The new features are being built into the latest versions of Twitter's smartphone application as well.
