Tamil Nadu boy writes board exam with toes

M. Magesh, a claas 10 student wrote exam with his left foot

Namakkal: In a heart-warming feat, a physically challenged boy wrote his Class 10 public exam with his left foot at Komarapalayam in Namakkal district on Wednesday.

“I have written my exams well .... with my toes," smiled 16-year-old M. Magesh, emerging confidently from the exam hall on the first day of the Class X State board exam at Komarapalayam. "I have always stood first in my class. I hope to score high marks in my exam," he says. At the exam hall, Magesh held the pen between the big toe and the long toe of his left foot and swiftly wrote the language paper.

He sat on a chair for the first one hour and wrote the exam keeping the papers on the desk. However, he developed pain and discomfort and was then allowed to squat on the floor and write. He was also given an additional one hour to complete his exam.
