New Delhi: The collection presented at the Lakme Fashion Week 2014 season by Manish Malhotra has set the tone of makeup for this summer.
The colour palette is very summery – very breezy, nothing that makes you look made up, the ace designer said.
Meanwhile, Rod Anker, Creative Director of Monsoon Salon and Spa, which is partnering with a whole host of designers at the Fashion Week, said that the ground rule is a clean look – a nude face with a hint of bronze – and pastel colours on either the eyes or the lips.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who walked the ramp in a long floor-kissing sheer black kurta with stunning white embroidery for Malhotra, said that while she is very fond of corals and bright reds, she does realize the flash in them will have to go. The colours of this season’s make up are very delicate, she added.
