In a sudden turn of events, ace composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has been replaced by the brand new composer duo Vivek-Mervin for the upcoming film Vadacurry, produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri.
Vadacurry features Jai and Swathy, the couple that made heads turn with their chemistry in Subramaniyapuram a few years ago. Saravanan, a former assistant of Venkat Prabhu, directs the movie. Sunny Leone will be seen in a special number in the film.However, producer Dhayanidhi clarifies that it was on mutual agreement that he and Yuvan parted ways.
“I would like to inform you that due to Yuvan Shankar Raja’s hectic schedule towards the end of last year, we were unable to work with him for Vadacurry although he has delivered us an absolutely mesmerising melody for it. We are using that track for the said film.Both of us agreed mutually and felt it was best if we work with another music director for the quick completion of the movie. Anirudh Ravichander recommended Vivek Siva and Mervin Solomon to complete the album of Vadacurry. They have both composed four tracks and will soon start work on the background score.”
