Mohan Babu, the best?

While speaking at the audio release function of Rowdy, director Dasari Narayana Rao praised veteran actor Mohan Babu and called him ‘the best actor after NTR’. But his peers aren’t amused.

“There are many good actors that the Telugu cinema has produced. S.V. Ranga Rao got international acclaim for his mythological characters. Even late Nageswara Rao and many more. So, it’s not fair to say that Mohan Babu is the best. He is a good actor,” says a director who doesn’t want to be named.

Generally during film audio functions, most of the guests who attend praise the lead actor. One can’t understand whether the praise for Mohan Babu was genuine or a mere lip service.
