Students to try out Aam Aadmi Party

Students are demanding that the government be made accountable

Hyderabad: Aam Aadmi Party’s approach to address issues affecting society through politics, has found takers among students of the Sultan-Ul-Uloom Education Society who say that a leader like Arvind Kejriwal, if not a great politician, is definitely inspiring.

“Arvind Kejriwal has not grown up in air-conditioned cars or bungalows and has a connect with people. He has been addressing major issues plaguing society. It makes him more eligible as a leader and I hope the party picks up in Hyderabad,” said Sameed Ahmed Osman, a final year student, civil department.

Demanding that the government be made accountable, students said that politicians must now be equipped with technology.

“The same old campaigning propaganda about secularism, caste and religion is not valid anymore,” said Sana Asif Ahmad, a final year student, computer science.

“We must elect a leader who is neutral and who believes in the development of all sectors,” said M. Hannan, a third year student, ECE.

Students are demanding employment opportunities in courses other than IT and computers.

“Whichever government comes to power they must change the entire examination system so that students do not have to write 10 exams to crack medical or engineering fields ,” said Prof. Syed Hussaini.
