Los Angeles 'Gossip Girl' star Blake Lively says she is glad for taking out some time off her work to enjoy her personal life.
The 26-year-old actress, who tied the knot with actor Ryan Reynolds, 37, in September 2012, said it was "really nice" to take a break from the spotlight for most of last year to focus on their relationship.
"Having a personal life has been really nice. I'd been on 'Gossip Girls' 10 months a year for six years, shooting 15-hour days, so I hadn't had time to just be since I graduated from high school," she said. "It's been nice to kind of settle into my own skin and work on things I really love," she added.
But Blake is apparently ready to concentrate on her career now and is currently filming 'The Age of Adaline' in her husband's native Vancouver, Canada. Lively has reportedly been working very hard this week while shooting for the film.
The movie, which also stars Harrison Ford, Ellen Burstyn and Michiel Huisman is set to release next year.
