Sriramulu mines Reddy support

Sources in BJP said the Valmiki strongman was forced to seek Mr. Reddy's help to enlist the support of BJP
Bellary: In a move signalling his unswerving loyalty to former tourism minister G Janardhan Reddy, former minister and BJP candidate for Bellary B. Sriramulu met his mentor in the prison in Bengaluru on Tuesday and discussed strategies for the April 17 parliamentary polls.
Sources in BJP said the Valmiki strongman was forced to seek Mr. Reddy's help to enlist the support of BJP legislator Anand Singh during the polls.
He reportedly met Mr. Anand Singh, Mr. B Nagendra and Mr. T H Suresh Babu, all legislators undergoing trial for alleged involvement in illegal mining, and requested them to back him. They were imprisoned six months ago after CBI commenced its probe into illegal mining.
In fact, it was an attempt by the former minister to mend fences with Mr Anand Singh and Mr Nagendra as none of the local legislators in Bellary district are keen to work for him in the runup to Lok Sabha polls.
