A press briefing called by Microsoft could be the launch event for Office
Microsoft has scheduled a press briefing on March 27 in San Francisco, which will focus on the intersection of cloud and mobile computing. Nadella will be briefing the press at the event.
According to ZDNet, Microsoft seems to be taking a call on releasing the much rumored and awaited Office for iPad on the same day.
The Office for iPad would only feature Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Recently, the launch of Office 365 Personal claimed that one PC or Mac and one tablet could be enrolled under a single subscription, and the iPad falls under the category.
A webcast for the event will be telecasted on the event day.
