Money cannot lure me: Arjun

The actor says he will follow the Kapoors’ footsteps, will not be lured by the ‘M’ factor

Arjun Kapoor, whose film Gunday has touched the much hyped '100-crore mark, says he is in no hurry to take on more films. "No amount of money can lure me. My uncle (Anil Kapoor) and my father (Boney Kapoor) have taught me to never succumb to the temptation of money. Like them, I’ll invest my time and effort only in progressive cinema.

I’d rather go slow and steady. I’ll earn money and build mansions when I establish myself as an actor," says Arjun Kapoor.

A lot of new actors aspire to be the next Shah Rukh Khan. His success story has always inspired newcomers. As a YRF protégé, does Arjun follow SRK too? "I have immense respect for Shah Rukh Khan and all the senior actors in the industry, but I also have a series of success stories in my family to refer to. Why would I want my life to be like any other celebrity? I think the Kapoors have done well for themselves," he adds.
