Hyderabad: Telugu Desam legislators called for Seemandhra bandh on Thursday.
Party MLA Payyavula Keshav appealed to Seemandhra people to observe complete bandh in view of the crucial day of the Assembly session on Thursday.
“Our fate is going to change tomorrow. Time has come for all of us to stand united against bifurcation of the state by opposing the Telangana Bill and ensure adoption of the resolution rejecting the Bill,”?Keshav said.
He also said there was a need to bring pressure on MLAs, government, Chief Minister and Speaker in this regard.
“Our struggle has reached a crucial stage. We have to ensure adoption of the resolution rejecting state’s bifurcation,”?he remarked.
Taking a dig at YSR Congress, Keshav alleged that the party was indulging in petty politics even at this crucial time.
He added that there is ample time to play politics but not at this juncture.
