Kiran Kumar Reddy’s party plan is a ‘mind game’

Kiran Kumar Reddy’s camp appears to be playing mind games when it comes to the new political party.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy’s camp appears to be playing mind games when it comes to the new political party. Over the last two days, members of the Chief Minister’s core group have told the media that Kiran Kumar Reddy was not thinking of launching a party, but there was pressure from people of Seemandhra to do so.

Legislator Anam Vivekananda Reddy told the media on Sunday that there were chances of a party being launched “very soon,” but he did not think that the Chief Minister would launch it. He said the NGOs associations may have a role in the new party.

Legislator Routhu Surya Prakash Rao told the media he did not know whether or not the Chief Minister would float the party “but propaganda is there.” He said that the people of the Seemandhra region are waiting for a new party.

Curiously, Rao is the first person to announce openly that Kiran Kumar Reddy would launch a party. Meanwhile, a minister who is very close to Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the CM had not revealed his mind about launching a new party, but he believed the CM would remain in the Congress.

Referring to the mysterious hoardings that have come up in Seemandhra, and advertisements on TV hyping Samaikyandhra, he said those were meant to keep the agitation alive, and that speculation that they heralded the new party, was wrong.
