Actress Shriya Saran likes to “just chill”. And that’s why, besides her top picks Kerala, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh, Goa is the place to be.
She says, “Whenever I go there, I just sit by the sea and relax, and not do anything. The food’s great and there’s always the water sports if you want to have an adventure too. Overall, Goa is a very soothing destination for me — the perfect getaway. I strongly recommend the experience for anyone who just wants to take that break.
But what about the rest of the country?
Well, I would like to plan a trip to the North-East and the East, as I’ve heard there are several must-visit destinations in the region. I’m really looking forward to one big trip there and I’ll start the planning as soon as I get the time.
Camping is a top holiday activity too
Yes. Since I was born in Haridwar, I often go camping up north, including Dehradun, and it’s a delight to be amidst nature with friends. India still remains my top travel destination, despite my trips abroad. There’s so much more to explore than the usual. There’s always a surprise.
Shriya is currently shooting for the Telugu flick, Manam with Tollywood actor Nagarjuna’s son, Naga Chaitanya. Besides that project, She also has a Bollywood movie coming up with Jimmy Shergill.”
