The Mahesh Babu-Srinu Vaitla starrer 'Aagadu' is moving at a brisk pace. The makers now want to wrap up the shooting as early as possible, and want to release the film in May to cash in on the summer collections. They have erected a huge police station set at Ramanaidu Studio, Nanakramguda. Currently, the director is canning a few scenes on the comedians and Mahesh will join them on January 18.
The film is set against the Rayalaseema backdrop and Mahesh is playing a policeman.
For the village atmosphere, the makers are planning to go to Gujarat as they won’t get any disturbances. “They wanted to shoot in Tadipatri of Anantapur district, but they can’t control the crowd here; so they opted for Gujarat. They have constructed a huge set of the Tadipatri village there,” says a source.
Tamannah is playing the female lead.
