Try as they might, no Bollywood actress has managed to quite replicate the sheer luminosity and grace that is Madhuri Dixit. However, her co-star and senior actor Naseeruddin Shah believes that there is one talent in the industry who could win the audiences’ hearts and sustain a very long innings a la Madhuri. And he says it is none other than Huma Qureshi.
Naseer, who is currently promoting his film 'Dedh Ishqiya', is all praise for Huma. At a recent press conference, he announced that if Huma chalks out her career well, she has the potential to be the next superstar. “Huma has the screen presence and the ability to hold together a scene all by herself. If she makes the right choices and career moves, she can play a long innings,” Naseer was heard saying.
Meanwhile, in the promos of 'Dedh Ishqiya', Huma and Madhuri have received equal billing. With a powerhouse like Naseer placing is bets on Huma, will she succeed in being the next big contender?
