Swati Reddy and Janani Iyer will be playing the female leads in Ajith Pillai's film 'Mosayile Kuthirameenukal' which stars Asif Ali and Sunny Wayne.
The film will be shot extensively in the Lakshwadeep Islands and will be Swati's third sojourn in Malayalam after the successful 'Amen' and '24 North Kaadam'.
Speaking about her roles in Malayalam, she says, “Each role that I have played has been so different from the other be it Soshamma or Narayani. This role too is very different and I find it very exciting!"
Swati will be playing a Lakshwadeep native who speaks the language of the region.
Talking about the language part, Swati says, “The language is anyways difficult and I found the going tough in my two projects. But I am also stubborn about learning the language which I have got used to by now. I can even manage to read Malayalam now."
Swati also mentions that this is her first trip to Lakshwadeep adding, “My father is in the Navy so he has been there innumerable times, but sadly I will visiting the islands for the first time for the shoot. I have been reading up a lot about the place and the people and so am looking forward to it."
Director Ajith informs that the shoot will begin by the last that the shoot will begin by the last week of December. The film is produced by Niyas Ismail under the Frames Innovatives banner.
