Hyderabad: A 64-year-old real estate agent from Malakpet has been booked for allegedly raping and threatening his housemaid for 23 years. The 35-year-old woman has alleged that a child was also born due to the rape. The city police will conduct a DNA test on the accused and the victim to confirm the allegation.
However, the accused, Javed Ahmed Siddiqui, a resident of Akbar Bagh, Malakpet, has been missing after the case of rape, criminal intimidation, and a case under the Arms Act was registered against him.
The victim alleged that Siddiqui started sexually harassing her when she was 12 years old. “I became a housemaid in his house when I was eight years old. After four years, he started raping me with the knowledge of his wife,” she said in her complaint. She said she gave birth to a boy seven years ago.
She has also charged Siddiqui’s aide, Ahmed Khan aka Pagal Ahmed, 49, of raping her often, with the consent of Siddiqui. She said that Siddiqui used to threaten her with a gun when she tried to resist.
She finally approached the police commissioner and complained that her life is in danger. She also alleged that her seven-year-old son has been taken away by Siddiqui, who kicked her out of his house in September 2012.
She also alleged that she was forced to give birth to the child as Siddiqui did not have any children by his wife.
There are details in this case that have baffled the Central Crime Station police who are investigating the case. “While the victim claims she had been raped, the locals told police that she is known as Siddiqui’s second wife in the locality.
Her brothers were working under Siddiqui, and most of the time, they were in his house. But, they never knew she gave birth to a baby,” said CCS DCP L.K.V. Ranga Rao.
The police is relying on the medical examination and DNA test for concrete answers. “We need to conduct a medical test to confirm if she was raped and gave birth to a child. A DNA test has to be done to confirm the biological father and biological mother of the child," said an officer.
The police are on the lookout for the absconding Siddiqui and Ahmed.
