Tiruchy: Commissioner of the city Corporation V.P. Thandapani was on Friday fined Rs 500 for allowing black film on the windows of his official car in violation of the Supreme Court’s ban on it.
Traffic police said they stopped the Commissioner’s car near the Corporation office and removed the film. They had repeatedly sought removal of the film, police said, adding that they slapped a fine of `500 for disobeying the police order and violating the apex court directive.
