Home Minister cum Deputy Chief Minister R Ashok, who is a good friend of Sudeep has advised the actor-director to enter into politics and serve the country.
Ashok was the guest of honour at the audio launch of Sudeep’s upcoming film 'Varadanayaka', which was held at the Chancery Pavillion on Wednesday (Nov 7) night. As per sources R Ashok is Sudeep’s lucky charm, as the film Kempegowda (2011), the audio of which was released by him, went on to become a massive hit.
R Ashok said, “I have been trying to rope him to our party (Bharatiya Janatha Party), but Sudeep is busy with films. Sudeep is doing exceptionally well in acting and direction and let him grow as much as he wants. I know after that he will definitely join politics.”
Sudeep chose not to comment on the issue.
